Another Deadly Storm Strikes Kentucky

SPRINGFIELD, Ky. -- A likely tornado killed one person and injured at least seven others in Washington County, Kentucky this morning.

Photos and video on social media show multiple homes and structures damaged or destroyed, along with overturned cars and fallen trees.

Authorities say a 3-year-old child is among the injured.

The tornado touched down just before 7 a.m. along Long Run Road in a rural part of the county.

A tornado warning had been issued by the National Weather Service, but he Washington County Emergency Management director says there are no tornado warning sirens in the area.
