A series of shootings in Wichita, Kansas, left five men dead on Sunday (November 10). The victims, ranging in age from 39 to 68, were found in three separate homes. The Wichita Police Department believes that one of the victims was the shooter, who subsequently took his own life.

The first call to 911 was made just before 6 p.m., reporting a death in the 1700 block of Santa Fe. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound. A follow-up investigation led officers to a second home in the 1900 block of S. Laura St., where they found three more men dead from gunshot wounds. A fifth victim was discovered in a third home on the same block after an officer noticed a body through a window.

According to Wichita Police Chief Joe Sullivan, the victims were all known to each other, possibly as family or friends. However, the exact nature of their relationships and the timeline of the shootings are still under investigation.

The police are urging anyone with information about the shootings to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
