Kentucky Governor Orders All Bars To Close For Two Weeks

(Frankfort, KY) - All bars in Kentucky are closed for the next two weeks.

Restaurants must also reduce indoor capacity to 25-percent while their patios are able to operate at 100-percent with social distancing.

Beshear said the measure is not fair to responsible bar owners, but he added the coronavirus is not fair either.

The restrictions went into effect Tuesday morning.

Gov. Beshear Recommends Delaying Start Of In-Person Learning

(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear wants all public and private schools in the state to pump the brakes on returning to classrooms.

Governor Beshear said Monday that he's recommending delaying a return to in-person learning until the third week of August.

He said that by waiting until the third week of next month they'll have a better chance to get the coronavirus under control.
