Kentucky Governor: New COVID-19 Case Attributed To Coronavirus 'Party'

The Word "Coronavirus" on a Computer Monitor

(Frankfort, KY) - A person in Kentucky has COVID-19 after attending what's described as a "coronavirus party."

Governor Andy Beshear expressed his disappointment at a press conference Tuesday, describing the party as an event for people in their 20s.

Beshear said anyone who attends such an event may not be putting their own health at risk, but they could be jeopardizing the health of someone else's parents or grandparents.

He added he was trying to remain calm after learning of the "party"-related case, calling it a callous act that put others at risk.
