Horse Racing Organizations Create Thoroughbred Safety Coalition

Racing Season Ends At Santa Anita After 30th Horse Dies

(Lexington, KY) - The top horse racing organizations in the country are creating the Thoroughbred Safety Coalition. 

The coalition will work together to develop safety reforms for horses and jockeys. New safety, medication, operational, and integrity guidelines will be put into place.

 

The founding members of the coalition include Breeders' Cup Limited, Churchill Downs, Keeneland Association, the New York Racing Association, Del Mar Thoroughbred Club and The Stronach Group.
