(Louisville, KY) - Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says he "can't imagine" the Senate removing President Trump from office as part of the impeachment process.
McConnell made the remarks Monday in downtown Louisville, where he received this year's Distinguished Rural Kentuckian award from the Kentucky Electric Cooperatives.
The Republican says the proceedings are already slowing down progress on issues such as the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which requires congressional approval.
