Bevin, Beshear Face off At Kentucky Farm Bureau Forum In Louisville

(Louisville, KY) - Governor Matt Bevin and challenger Andy Beshear both say they support rural communities. 

It's a claim they made during a forum at Kentucky Farm Bureau's headquarters in Louisville Wednesday.

The attorney general attacked Bevin for trying to add work requirement rules for some low-income Medicaid recipients. 

Beshear says such a move will have a negative impact on rural hospitals.

Bevin, Beshear Decline To Call Trump's Tweets Racist

(Louisville, KY) - Both candidates for Kentucky governor are declining to call President Trump's recent tweets telling four congresswomen of color to "go back" to their home countries racist. 

Republican Governor Matt Bevin says that Trump is "absolutely not" a racist and said anyone who implied he was is just being divisive. 

Bevin's Democratic challenger, Attorney General Andy Beshear condemned the tweets, but wouldn't say whether he thought the tweets were racist.
