Tennessee Gov. Responds To Gov. Beshear's Call To Avoid Volunteer State

(Nashville, TN) - Governor Andy Beshear's request for Kentuckians to avoid traveling across the state's southern border is getting a response from Tennessee's governor.

While talking last week about the "very aggressive steps" Kentucky had taken to stop the spread of the coronavirus, Governor Beshear said Tennessee had not done the same.

Tuesday, Gov. Bill Lee said Tennessee tests its citizens three times more per capita than Kentucky does. Lee said Tennessee has more information about its situation due to the amount of testing.
