Largest One Day Increase In Kentucky COVID-19 Cases

(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear has announced Kentucky's largest one day jump in COVID-19 cases. 

Beshear reported 114 new cases Tuesday, with seven deaths. Those who died ranged in age from their 60s to their 80s and all had underlying conditions.

The governor announced that preparations are being made for a Franklin County drive-thru testing facility, but there is no date set for its opening. 

He also said that childcare options for emergency and healthcare workers are being extended to grocery store workers.
