Bevin, Beshear Square Off In Contentious Kentucky Debate

(Lexington, KY) - Matt Bevin and Andy Beshear are continuing their contentious fight to become governor following Tuesday night's Kentucky Debate. 

The incumbent Republican and the Democratic Attorney General got into some heated and personal exchanges on topics such as education, healthcare, and pensions.

Bevin and Beshear also clashed over abortion, with Beshear announcing his support of Roe v Wade and Bevin positioning himself as fighting for the unborn. 

The debate aired on WAVE-TV in Louisville and WKYT-TV in Lexington. The election will take place November 5th.
