Poll Shows Antifa Is Winning Minds of College Students

INJOAntifa is a violent, extreme left-wing group that has gained attention for its political tactics. Thus far, antifa has destroyed property, assaulted Donald Trump supporters and journalists, and regularly called individuals who don't see eye to eye with them “Nazis.”

Another thing antifa does is attack free speech. In fact, members see anything that contradicts their worldview as hate speech. As such, antifa fully supports the use of violence to push its agenda.

And as it turns out, it has a lot of support among college students.

According to Campus Reform:

A new survey published by The Brookings Institution finds that about one-in-five undergraduate students approve of using violence to shut down controversial speakers.

A majority of undergraduate students at U.S. four-year colleges and universities also agreed with a hypothetical protest in which a group “opposed to the speaker disrupts the speech by loudly and repeatedly shouting so that the audience cannot hear the speaker.”

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, over 20 million students are attending college this fall. If 19 percent are in favor of violence, that makes nearly 4 million students who are at least sympathetic to antifa's cause.
