How You Can Help The Victims Of The Mexico City Earthquake

On Tuesday (September 19th) a 7.1 magnitude earthquake rocked Mexico City. The earthquake devastated the city, already reeling from an earthquake a few weeks earlier, leaving over 200 dead.

As the city struggles to rebuild there are many ways which you can help.

You can donate to the Red Cross's Disaster relief fund. The Red Cross has also setup a page to donate directly to the earthquake victims(the page is in Spanish). A page has been setup on GlobalGiving, with a goal of raising $1 million for the victims. UNICEF Mexico has a page for donations and supplies to help.

If you have any friends or family living in Mexico City and are concerned for their well-being there is a public Google Doc that lists the people who have been rescued. Google has also activated it's People Finder feature. The Red Cross has an information page with details on the many ways you can try to get in touch with loved ones.
